![]() ![]() Dr. Halepota has recently moved from Lexington, Kentucky to join Palo Verde Hematology Oncology. Dr. Halepota was born in the City of Hyderabad, built on the banks of the River Indus. It is the most historical city and old capital of Sindh, which is now a province of Pakistan. He went to Sindh Medical College and graduated at the top of his class. He decided to move to the United States in 1992, and lived in Lexington, Kentucky until July, 2003. He completed his training in Internal Medicine in 1996 from the University of Kentucky, and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1997. He then practiced Internal Medicine from 1996 to 2000 in Kentucky. Dr. Halepota provided medical care to the indigent population in one of the poorest counties in Kentucky. In return for his outstanding service and devotion, Dr. Halepota was commissioned into the "Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels" by Paul Patton, Governor of Kentucky in 1999. He then left his Internal Medicine Practice in 2000 to specialize in Hematology and Oncology. His Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology was also at the University of Kentucky. He has now moved to Phoenix to join our practice. Dr. Halepota is married and has two sons. He enjoys many activities, including, cricket, tennis, and swimming. His other hobbies include philately, reading and traveling. Dr. Halepota has traveled all over the world, and is familiar with the different customs and cultures of the world.
